Recently been totally made over...silver interior!? Friendly, helpful staff with a decent range of home and guest ales. Not eaten here for about 12 months but it was very nice a year ago.

Had a decent pint of Black Sheep, there were also a few local ales on draught. Food and service were fine, the pub seems to be popular with families, its fair to say it is more food focused. Central location in Bowness near to piers and shops.

2 Hawksheads, a Windmill, cask Tetley and possibly one or two other ales on.

One of the largest pubs in Bowness but friendly all the same. 5 Real Ales in good condition. Food very good too. Despite the buildings around it, the large patio area outside is a real sun trap in the evenings! Very pleasant.

Excellent ales and a verywarm welcome. Sit outside around the large well or take a look inside ro sample the real ales and excellent food. Very close to the lake but away from the main road. Well worth a visit. Excellent lack Sheep
