| We visited on a "Gavin + his Guitar" night for the 3rd time. Gavin is a very gifted singer/guitar player who has a wide range of musical material. He usually visits on a Weds. night (though not often enough for us) + on his night the pub is busy + atmospheric. He takes requests via a book that he passes round the tables. The bar staff are cheerful + polite. The food is traditional pub fayre, cooked to a good standard with huge portions + reasonable prices ( for the area).
