Still around and undergoing a repaint. One New River brew on handpump but I swerved it and went for lager here. It's looking like West Hendon's sole remaining pub is safe for now.

Only one ale on (Oakham Citra) and not a soul was drinking it so I stuck to lager myself. This is yet another pub under threat as there are plans to demolish it and build flats on the site. London's NW postcodes are not only a real ale desert but will soon be devoid of pubs too at the current rate of closure.

Dropped by this evening had a reasonable pint of Hophead. It is a bit rough and ready but relatively friendly with it. Would agree it isn't GBG material but if you're in Hendon there just isn't anything else (since the Greyhound went down the toilet)

Came along to here recently, as it was the only North West London pub in the 2018 Good Beer Guide that I had not been to. It was quite frankly disappointing. Hophead was the solitary real ale. I'm not normally into hoppy beers. But I had it anyway and the quality was fine. Very quiet on my Saturday lunchtime visit. But I doubt I'll venture to Hendon again any time soon.

No great change from previous visits apart from them now doing a fairly decent pint of Dark Star Hophead - probably worth a drop by now (for the ale and the fact that apart from a toilet masquerading as a pub on West Hendon Broadway there is nowhere else in the area)
