| City centre pub, I visited twice on a Tuesday. Some people there around lunchtime, for a long time in the evening I was the sole guest, and they started turning off the lights at 22:10. | Quiet Wednesday night, the bar is not visible from the street, so you must take a leap of faith, but worth the leap. It feels more like a bar but there were 4 pumps on, Bankside Inspector Morse IPA, Harveys Wlid Hop, Woodfordes Volt IPA And Elgoods Puff (The Magic Dragon!). Bank side was very good. | I was disappointed that no Oakham ales were on given that a review I had read somewhere led me to believe they would be. Nevertheless, a good beer selection was to be had including the tasty 'Half Wit' from local firm Three Blind Mice. | Not much atmosphere on the night I was in. Not sure why it was so empty because it was staffed by three very young, very enthusiastic barstaff and the beer - Wheeltapper's - was fine.
