In a town full of good beer the quality in here was terrible... barely able to have more than a few sips of my beer.

Open till late but nothing else to recommend it.

Watched the end of Ireland vs. Argentina in the Rugby World Cup (The proper code of rugby obviously) in here with some downhearted Irish friends. A really nice building that goes back a long way and has the ambience of being in a particularly cosy and well-decorated cave.
Beer was great and not too dear, but be prepared to wait...and wait...and wait for service. There were upwards of 70 people in here when I visited and only one barman.
I am reliably informed the food is very nice, but I daren't think how long it takes to arrive once you've ordered.

Great place, nice beer and one of the funniest bartenders I've ever met!

I used to live here back in 2000 and 2001, and worked in the neighbouring pub, O'Malleys. Both places used to share staff and were the epicentre of Salburg nightlife. So many people of all nationalities passing through - your evening was never quiet - you were guaranteed to meet somebody random from the other side of the world - and be best friends by the time you get kicked out at 4am in the morning.

Highly recommended - as is O'Malleys.

The BEST bar in Salzburg, hands down. On a recent trip to Europe I had the pleasure of meeting some fab new friends at the Shamrock, and will now reccomend it to everyone visiting.
