After an evening in the city centre, I should have returned my murky pint of Wye Valley Bitter on Saturday night but I was deceived by the decent white head and the normal taste (and I didn't want to stick out in a pub full of locals when the service had been friendly). HPA and Butty Bach were also on sale. paul_d102 - 28 Aug 2023 18:04 |
Not bad at all. Seems a popular place. Wye Valley Butty Bach on when I visited. HGSterling - 9 Apr 2014 17:00 |
They also do a "fish n chips" take-a-way service. Food here is pretty good with a menu that includes affordable and more pricey items. dpaajones - 27 Nov 2013 13:46 |
New landlord & lady. Open every day and serves food every day too. 3 local ales to chose from. Beer garden and car park. Situated just off the main road through the village. All-in-all an average village pub, but worth going to if passing through the area and wanting a quick meal or drink. dpaajones - 27 Nov 2013 13:45 |
Good beer quality assured due to frequent "testing" by the landlord. JimmyRibble - 2 Feb 2010 17:44 |
