This is the village boozer and music venue and it is now The Old Fox. It is also a football friendly pub with loads of photos; banners; scarves and programmes around the games area. There is a patio area to the side (for smokers) a main bar with games area and a dining room at the back. Sunday roasts were advertised. Beers were the ubiquitous London Pride and Sharp's Doom Bar as well the usual lagers;ciders etc.
I would imagine it is heaving at weekends when there are live bands playing. Look out for the 2 huge (and I mean huge) shaggy dogs - one of wich slavered all over my trousers - yucchh!
Anyway, you pays your money and you takes your choice!

My Band "STOLEN" will be back at The Old Fox on Saturday, 3rd, of April.
If you enjoyed our previous charity gig here last October (and we know loads of you did), come and have some more fun.
Blues/Rock & Rock 'n' Roll covers, great musicianship, not too loud or too soft. Cheers, John.

At least a year ago, this changed to 'The Old Fox'.

As previous comments, the pub has got better and better since changing to The Old Fox. Food was good, staff friendly (especially Karen and Jon who run the show) and good atmos - show the footy and live music here regularly. I have a gig here in January with my duo and am looking forward to it!

Hoorah!

As noted previously, now 'The Old Fox'.
Nice range of shiny motors outside when I walked past it yesterday, so it's probably doing something right.
Seems to have live music - rock genre etc. - and a function room.
Didn't go in - no rating
