| Considering this was a Saturday night, it was dead. Greeted by the strange owner who looked like he didn't really want a large girl group in, we moved to the back of the venue which was dark and dusty. Despite the fact we had pre booked the 3 course �19.95 menu, a few out of the 11 of us only had 2 courses. We then got this at the 'special price' of �20! Go figure! Maybe he was miffed because we didn't drink like fish and lost revenue! Food was medioche and not worth the price in my opinion. Very plain and mostly salad but not dressing supplied. | Full of cranks and goths...thought i had entered a fancy dress party...Staff were just rude when i asked what was going on...left and went up to the bar at the top of the road, not saying it made my evening, but it made my evening better anonymous - 1 Jun 2006 13:09 |

| Very disappointing. Poor service, overpriced, tasteless food. Visited on a Saturday night a few weeks ago. Only one person serving food on a Saturday evening. When we commented on this the waitress told us that her manager was supposed to be in an hour ago but hadn't turned up yet.. Took half an hour before our order was taken, starters were ok and fairly quick but sat waiting an hour for main courses which when they arrived were poor quality (tasting more like cheap supermarket ready meals. Complained to waitress again but just told that our comments would be passed on.
