| A large pub on the Western Esplanade about a half mile from the centre of Southend. It has a large lounge with comfortable armchairs. There is an upstairs mezzanine floor which is used for the restaurant. | Sure, not the nicest looking pub you'll ever go to but great views of the estuary/sea from upstairs. Cracking sunday lunch option for veggies and a decent pint of IPA. aroundthefur - 9 May 2009 23:59 |
