| The public bar at 'The Prince' would have to be one of my favourite bars worldwide. It is kind of grungy and has a permanant cigarette haze hanging overhead, but it also has the most colourful clientelle, decent music and reasonably priced drinks. Ther eis nothing classy about this pub, but you can be garranteed that no 2 nights will ever the same at 'The Prince'. Be prepared to see some wierd, wonderful and sometimes very strange folk. | Gotta disagree with Linda. Of /course/ people are drunk, but generally in a good way. One section downstairs is gay, but don't worry you'll know where it is =) and people are pretty easy-goin. Prefer upstairs myself. It's more of a club, big house night most Saturdays (one love). They also get some AWESOME acts - just off the top of my head : Sly and Robbie, Black Uhuru + Michael Rose (awesome) Crazy Penis Salmonella Dub (ok they're from NZ but they're awesome, and they seem to be there every month) Dub pistols Dandy Warhols Check it out, you won't be disappointed =) Nick RDKLS - 15 May 2003 01:01 |
| Lots of fun, good music, met loads of people. However, a lot of people are drunk, drugged etc and cause problems to clients, particularly ladies. I was pushed over onto the floor twice by a regular, and I was sober! I was spat at by a regular. I had my purse stolen by a regular.
