A Youngs pub. Decent selection of well looked after beer, friendly staff and a cosy atmosphere inside. Good and large outside area for smokers with heat lamps for the colder months. I didnt order any food but many other tables were tucking in and it looked half decent. The beer garden catches the evening sun nicely.

Beer is probably overpriced for the location - I've paid less in more central or picturesque locations in London. Having said that the ale if far better kept than other local pubs. The toilets are disgusting and, when I visited, stank of urine.

The feel of a country pub inside and standard Youngs beers on offer, worth a shout if you dont want to go too far from Puntey Heath.

Nice little pub, with a beer garden out back that looks like it could be a great spot in summer.

Only recently visited pub as only just moved into the area. The regulars seem friendly, as long as you stand to the right end of the bar as your facing it. It has a good mixtuer of people all seem to communicate with each other. Did spot one couple who seemed to be scowling at anybody and every body, but then every pub must have one odd ball in it.

Friendly staff behind bar, they even delivered my beer to the table when the barrel had to be changed. Nice touch as most pubs would make you wait at the bar.

Food menu seems reasonable and I have been told by a couple of regulars that I must try the Sunday roast.

All in all a nice little boozer, one that I will be visting again and can quite happily see this becoming my regular.

Went to The Green Man in June, and have to say the food and the beer was excellent. It was on a saturday afternoon, and it was avery peaceful place to come and chat with friends. Youngs was good nick, and the staff were nice.

Pleasant Youngs pub, would meet many peoples expectation of an olde english pub, but with usual modern touches. Youngs was above average, staff and customers pleasant.
