More of a younger persons hangout though not in a Big Brother, Ibiza kind of young person type of establishment. Ale was okay not bad for the area. Snarling_Mallard - 27 Sep 2018 22:21 |
The Constitution has a nice position next to the canal. I arrived on Sunday lunchtime as they were opening. But seemingly one staff member hadn't turned up and the owner seemed a bit peeved. The ground floor is fairly basic. But there is a nice outdoor area overlooking the canal on the lower level. Ales were Dark Star Hophead, Sambrook's Junction & Gloucester Gold. blue_scrumpy - 22 May 2017 20:25 |
After finding that the Prince Albert was closed for a private function I came here for a quick pint. This is an old style locals pub right by the canal 3 ales on the pumps....the Sambrooks Pumphouse Pale Ale was a decent pint. Locals watching football on a dodgy satellite feed in side so I took my pint out to the large beer garden / smoking area at the rear. Decent place but I spent the whole time in the garden so I cannot really comment on the décor etc. lezford - 19 Oct 2014 22:30 |
I am the Licensee of The Constitution Pub in St Pancras Way, Camden. NW1 0QT. Your site states that the name of the pub has been changed to The Bell House. It has not changed. It is still The Constitution. Could you please correct. Thanks clarepub - 24 Sep 2014 13:54 |
Smashing traditional North London boozer that doesn't try to be anything else. Plenty of regulars, slightly cliquey, as off the beaten track. Very few tourists at all, rare for Camden. Good place to play pool and they have a good jukebox which is always on the go blasting out the Jam, Madness and the Pogues. Friendly bar staff and excellent for catching the footie. Arguably the best boozer in Camden. QueensParker - 6 Oct 2013 02:54 |
