user reviews of the Larwood and Voce Tavern, West Bridgford

please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.

Has undergone an extreme makeover and couldn't fail to be an improvement on the filthy chavhole it once was. Sadly it's far more gastro than pub these days, food looks decent though it's far from cheap. Popular with families, far too many of whom are from West Bridgford's brigade of yummy mummys, their repugnant spoilt offspring and their worn down husbands (who'd clearly much prefer to be in a proper boozer). A decent enough place to take visiting in-laws but you wouldn't make it your local.

Was in daytime a few times beginning August. Remember when this place was a bustling establishment. Only time it was busy was on the Saturday when Forest were at home to Bradford City. Then again every pub in the area was busy that day! Has loads of potential but needs money spent on the interior. Beer selection not great. I was reduced to John Smiths Extra Smooth, which was ok. The Guinness is also acceptable.

Get's very busy when footballs on but decent pub, superior to the TBI on the opposite corner of Cricket ground imho.
