Still my top pub in the area. Great chef, beer well kept, a local pub for local people who welcome everyone else. Basil and Sybil are doing a great job here!! tigerfeet - 20 Jul 2016 16:22 |
An ordinary pub to look at but the beer is always on top form,Tiny Rebel and Gypsy Hill breweries seem to be a priority plus Deuchars. The spotlessness is striking. slerpy - 9 Feb 2016 20:54 |
All Inn One is a pub/bar on the eastern side of the train tracks in Forest Hill. This is a much quieter area than the other side of the station and this was reflected in the fact that I walked in to find only one other customer. Live football was being shown on the TV. 3 real ales were on - Caledonian Deuchars IPA, Burning Sky Plateau & Brains SA, with Gipsy Hill Bounder "coming soon", following the annoying Wetherspoons trait of displaying beers that aren't actually on yet! But I was quite happy to see Rich's Legbender cider on a 5th handpull. There is a larger room for dining at the back. But the bar area in 2 sections is reasonably large too. blue_scrumpy - 8 Nov 2015 17:27 |
A revisit for me as the last pub on a small Saturday night crawl. My first visit since January 2013 and only my 2nd ever visit. It’s busy with food proving popular. After visiting a couple of local pubs this was a welcome as it’s calm, has a nice class of punter and well-kept beer. 3 ales on the hand pumps on my visit, I went for pints of Cottage Brewery Iron Duke @ 4.3% & Head in a Hat Tommy @ 4.2%. Both kept very well and served with a smile. A quick mention about the toilets, they are very clean. I’m unsure why I don’t use this pub more often but I think I will change that from now on, it’s definitely worth a visit. lezford - 5 Jul 2015 08:18 |
Super professional, friendly staff. Food is wonderful- definitely the best in forest hill- unpretentious, hot, generous portions, really good quality meat etc. toilets are consistently the cleanest pub toilets I have ever seen. Chefs whites are really white and clean too- he will often lend a hand at bar after slaving at stove. Almost worried its gonna get swamped with yummy mummies it so nice.
