| Largely a restaurant catering for tourists, particularly divers and walkers. There is a separate bar area. Excellent beer (Orkney Dark Island) and friendly, efficient staff. | One half ,by the telly, is like a poor bar, the other end would be stretching it to call 'restaurant'. Dining area for a B & B would be closer the mark. the place generally smells like a greasy spoon cafe. Had a seasonal dark ale from one of the Orkney breweries which was undrinkable and I changed it for a slightly more palatable brew which was still pretty insipid. | Best pub in Orkney (Stromness, Kirkwall), easily better than any of the pubs in Kirkwall. Has a divided area for drinking and eating. | Had a quick pint in here whilst on holiday with my girlfriend. A lot of the seating is torn and ripped and held together with gaffer tape - nice! This adds to the general run down ambience of the place. Had a pint of Dark Island which was virtually undrinkable. It seems not all the dives in Orkney are in Scapa Flow!
