Now called No 64 after a refurbishment. No real ale and probably looking for the younger customers.

Bar near the theatre called the mad cow.walk in and the older lady behind the bar makes a point of looking at her watch at 9.30pm.during my half hour in there drinking a very good pint of st Austell tribute,it become apparent that she a rude person, with the wrong attitude to bar work.had to laugh. When 4customers came in at 10pm and she rolled her eyes.would of had another pint but not with this type of welcome!had to wonder if pub is named after her!!!

Only seen this place open once in the 7 years I've been visiting the island. Closed again this year (October).

It is a loud bar. The sports commentary is also filtered through to the gents so that you don't have to miss any action. Quite smart and clean, with hefty wooden furniture. Draught Bass is drinkable if a tad cold. Friendly bar staff. I didn't find anywhere else in Shanklin to watch Sky Sports that also had real ale.

serves a reasonable draught Bass, but other than that a characterless "Sports" bar with eardrum bursting noise levels (even when it's empty).
