This pub has now closed apparently. The loss of another Pompey pub I'm afraid:(

Said youngster behind the bar is 27 years old and extremeley experienced in his job. Should the anonymous customer have voiced his displeasure of his pint, Matt, as he prefers to be known, would have been more than willing and capable of replacing the drink. The anonymous customer is more than welcome to return providing he can bring his qualifications in judging other people with no knowledge of them.

I was in here one afternoon a couple of Thursday's ago. A couple of blokes sat at the bar looked as if they had been there for the past 30 years but that isn't the thing that makes this place unusual. It's the fact that the young lad serving behind the bar
looks about 12 years old. Do different rules apply in this part of Hampshire or something? The pint of London Pride was one of the worst I've ever had but I couldn't bring myself to berate someone who looks 12 years old and had obviously been left in the lurch. Hope that things get straightened out as you can see that this could be a great little pub. I'll give it 3/10 with an extra mark for the efforts of the youngster.
