The best of 3 pubs I tried in Hampton on Saturday evening and the best of 10 altogether in West London. This is a busy community pub with a separate restaurant at the back, which was equally popular. Ales were Hopback Summer Lightning, Caledonian Deuchars IPA, Triple fff Winter Oatmeal Stout & Hardy & Hansons Rocking Rudolph. The Stout was very enjoyable. Another pub with live football being shown. Well worth a visit.

A nice pub with a good welcome and a very pleasant and secluded garden out the back. Beer was a choice including Summer Lightning. Seems to be quite big on food especially burgers.

It’s a Saturday lunch time and I finally get to tick the Jolly Coopers while making my 3rd visit to Hampton and Richmond Borough FC.

The Coopers is a mainstay in the Camra GBG and after only being here half an hour I can see why. The choices from the 5 pumps are Caledonian Deuchars IPA, Courage Best, Hop Back Summer Lightning, Shepherd & Neame Amber Ale and my choice which was Ascot Ales Alley Cat Ale @ 3.8%. The Alley cat is on special at a reduced price and is going down a treat.

A tapas food menu on offer that was served in the bar and in the restaurant out the back.

Half full on my arrival but by 2pm the pub had filled up nicely and was a buzz of chatter.

A thoroughly decent pub and well worth the visit, one I will return to on my next visit to Hampton and Richmond Borough FC.

Superb as ever. Brilliant landlord in a lovely traditional setting. Best in the area by miles and miles.

This place was recommended to me by some friends who swear by the place. I went with high expectations and let me say now, I was not disappointed. We were told the tapas here was good but that was an understatement. The selection was fantastic and the quality as good as you will find anywhere. The choice of beer was superb and well cared for. We opted for a seat in the restaurant and were well looked after by all the staff. The llovely local pub feel up front accompanied by the up-market feel of the restaurant is a winning combination. Will definitely be back next time we are in the area. A must if you're nearby!
