Another cracking pub - maybe a bit more modern inside.

Long well lit bar, real fire, black sheep in fine condition.

Loving Castleton!

Great lunch in here with mate and the ladies. Huge portion of cod and a delicious farmers blonde ipa. A great place to fuel up for the clim to peveril castle!!!

Was very impressed with this pub. It was lively and welcoming and had some excellent beers on. A well maintained interior and pleasant little outside area.

Didn't eat there, just had a couple of pints. Decent selection of ales on tap, five or six I think although I don't think any of them were from local breweries. They had Landlord, Schiehallion, Bitter and Twisted, Butcombe's Old Vic and a couple of others, beer was fine and somewhere between 2.50-3.00 a pint. Service was pretty quick and freindly although it was quiet when we went in.
