| Visited on a couple of occasions this weekend mainly because it is handily situated for various restaurants. On both visits, we only stayed for one drink largely because of the inflated prices but at least the beers on offer were varied and interesting. £5+ for a can is ridiculous though for some not-that-unusual craft beers; the handpulled ales were fortunately cheaper and the Vibrant Forest one that I tried was really good. | This is a really nice pub with an excellent choice of beer and good service. Unfortunately it is way too expensive with nothing on sale for less than £4.50. I really did enjoy my Vibrant Forest Black October & Wild Beer Wild Goose Chase but won't hurry back until I win the lottery. baxterfish - 29 Oct 2015 12:46 |
