| I was very impressed by this pub. I was expecting a dining pub. But on entering, there was no sign of any diners, just a fair number of drinkers. Thwaites Original is the regular ale. But they also had 3 guests - Woodlands Midnight Stout, Tatton Gyle 66 & Pennine Amber Necker. There was also a few craft beers on keg dispensed from the back of the bar. These included Titanic Plum Porter. I went for the Gyle 66, a 12% Imperial Russian Stout, which was very nice indeed. No real cider is sold. Definitely worth seeking out though.
