Went here for the first time for one of their tutored beer-tastings. Absolutely stunned by the prices.Having said that, for £20 a couple we got 5 third of a pint tasters along with different cheeses to go with them. The session lasted 90 mins and the lad doing the explaining was knowledgeable. An enjoyable evening, just a great shame that all the beer tasted the same as it's all keg. Brewdog do two real ales in cask - surely they could put them on in this city-centre venue?

Ah, it's really popular now to be snooty about Brewdog. I like it in small doses. Some of the beers are great, others not so great and the beer cannon idea is a bit suspect.

i visit occasionally and tend to stay for one or two. My bank balance and liver can't stand for much. One good thing is that staff will give you tasters so you don't have to waste money on something you don't like.

Horrible place frequented by customers who drink whatever is in fashion this month. They'll be back to alcopops soon.

No question this pub is popular, always seems rammed. Decent beers, bit pricey but not too far train station. My only personal gripe would be the harshness of the interior..all varnished brickwork and minimalist furniture...could do with some flock wallpaper, log fire and a couple of armchairs.
