| Busy pub from opening time until closing. People leaving all the time though so you shouldn't wait too long for seats. Not a typical Wetherspoons as there is no long walk and only 10 steps to the toilets. Several real ales on tap but I stuck with the Deuchars as I was on a session. One problem is the bar area. It is a longish bar but there is a pillar near the middle therefore not much room to move up and down the bar when it is busy. Staff are usually pretty good at serving in the correct order but not always which can be very frustrating. The food is pretty decent but the price of drinks are high. | Well, I agree with the previous poster but I'd put it another way; nothing much good about it either. Particularly atmosphere-free. Nip round to the Oxford round the corner (or pretty much any nearby pub), pay the bit extra to support it and drink in the proper pub experience! curioushistory - 22 Nov 2012 16:28 |
