A decent looking pub adjacent to the waterside precinct, with a busy little sun terrace at the front. Less crowded indoors, & cooler. A pint of Shakespeare (3.10) was pretty good, as was the service. After some adventures in back street Bristol pubs I was happy to sit & sip quietly here even if it was more tourist heavy.

Decent boozer, despite the evident Greene King tie.
Had a couple of well-kept pints here - a hoppy American-style IPA and then a pint of Shakespeare, which is brewed for the pub.
Busy with hen and stag dos, but still convivial enough.

Stayed in a hotel next to this pub on a work night and was in most nice with colleagues. Friendly staff, good prices and an excellent pint of Golden Hen. Shall deffo return when next in Bristol.

Pleasant pub just round the corner from the chains on dockside. Small range of ales but well kept and various. Some green king, but enough others to avoid them. Food looked good, but didn't sample

A sensitive refurbishment and an imaginative selection of guest beers make this welcoming hostelry Bristol city centre's most improved pub. Capable and friendly staff know how to keep both their beer and their customers, and it's good to see them pushing the Greene King guest ale roster as far as it'll go. A recent visit brought offerings from Titanic (how apt) and Nottingham Brewery, and thankfully I can't remember the last time I had to resort to GK blandobeers. Curioushistory can be assured that his January experience isn't the norm here.
