| Just returned home after spending the weekend at this nice pub in Warwickshire. There were a group of us, and planned a weekend caravan rally here over a year ago. Unfortunately the pub had changed hands in May this year, and we were not, it seems, made all that welcome. We had to eat early in the restaurant, and then retire to the lounge bar, and keep moving between there and the skittles room, as there were no seats for us in the skittles room, and not enough seating in the lounge. This was not too much of an inconvenence to us, but what was annoying was the attitute to us of the licencee, who kept telling us that she was not making any money from our group, and all the customers who had "booked meals" on Saturday evening had turned around when they saw caravans on caravan site. Some of the "locals" we spoke to said that the pub had deteriated since the change of manager last May--- enough said.
