| Quite probably one of the worst faux-Irish pubs I've ever been in. Walked in, and a polite request for two Guinness was met with a typical Gallic shrug. Eventually managed to persuade the rather rude and abrupt member of staff that I wanted Guinness (pronounced something like Gooeyness apparently) rather than Kilkenny. Finally got the Guinness and it tasted absolutely dreadful. Wish I hadn't bothered. mike - 8 Sep 2003 17:18 |
