Visited this pub on new years day.Attraction was the kids indoor play area.First thoughts was the entrance fee into the play area 3.50 EACH child which we thought a bit steep as we were dining there !! The pub was fairly quiet but still took 50 mins for our food to arrive but to be honest well worth the wait,we all enjoyed what we ate and the puddings were superb, but most of all the service was 10 out of 10 with the staff really helpfull and friendly. Will definitly visit again.

Visited this pub on the 11 feb2011 and found the food to be good value and very reasonable quality. Beer choice however was about as bad it gets - Stella, Carling or crappy smooth flow. No real ale.
Finished my meal and scarpered out for a decent brew.

I'm sorry but the lack of decent beer completely negates the good food - will not return any time soon.

Oh this was not good. Walked up the canal and eventually found a pub. It was so devoid of character that two of our group of four didn't have a drink. To give you an idea of the class of this place there is a two for 10 meal consisting of gammon and chips followed by Vienetta (this is advertised outside the pub!).

Avoid.
