We went in on a saturday for our first visit. We found the place full and the outside patio area also ( it was a warm day). We tried the Bombadier which at 1-89 was good. We got a full pint, no problem.
A guy came to clean the table and also wiped the menu, you dont see that much these days! So dont see any problem with the place. Exept for screaming kids, who shouldnt be in pubs anyway.
Would go again, and yes I have been in some real dumps, this is not one.

Avoid at all costs. Possibly the worst pub I've been in in 12 months. Against our better judgement we had a drink here. I looked at the menu, ignoring the horrible smell of vomit pervading the area, and found it was sticky with old sick. The manager stood nearby oblivious to the state and smell of the pub. I guess he's just got accustomed to it. Can you give a pub a negative mark?

How it rated 5.5 before I got here is totally beyond me. Yes it does real ale but that came with a head of 2 inches and was not going to be topped up without calling the barman back. The food took over an hour to arrive and was rubbish that was not even well cooked. One word - avoid.
