| I should say at outset that I have a problem with this pub as it refused entry to my severely disabled son and his accredited assistance dog - apparently you're ok if you are blind but not if you have a dibilitating skin condition. Regardless of this, having visited on one previous occasion I can assure you that the interior, atmosphere and choice of ales are all as charmless as the landlady. | This pub was the only downside of our lovely holiday in Pembrokeshire with a large group of friends. Despite the pub being rather dull with no atmosphere, it was local to our holiday house so we agreed to meet up there with friends and children for dinner at 6pm. Went in with our disabled 8 yr old boy Cam, and his assistance dog Freddie, only to be refused entry because they didn't allow dogs. I offered to show the land lady Freddie's offical accreditation card from Dogs for the Disabled and Department of Health, which explains his special training and allows him into restaurants, pubs and cafes - but she refused to even look at it! So we went to the Sloop Inn in Porthgain instead, where the staff did everything they possibly could to welcome Cam and Freddie, and the food and atmosphere was marvellous.
