Not much more than a restaurant masquerading as a pub really. Expensive, elitist pretentious and unfriendly.. Not a proper boozer. Not for me. AVOID!! 2 out of 10

Lovely looking brick built restaurant/pub on the old A11 in Eaton village, as said elsewhere its more of a restaurant than a pub now, but does 3 or 4 local and expensive ales. I have eaten here and the portions are good and its well presented, not the sort of place you pop out to for the footie or a game of darts, for that go to the Cellar House up the road!

This place was very busy last Saturday lunch time when I visited.
More of a restaurant than a pub with all tables taken by diners and others waiting. Foood is not cheap either.
The bar is a fair size so managed to pirtch on one of the half dozen bar stools.
4 hand pumps with Fullers London Pride, Adnams Lighthouse & Broadside.
I went for a pint of the Woodfords Werry which was a bit ordinary and cost 3.40
