| Lovely pub in Aycliffe Village facing the village green. The pub is spacious inside and busier than I was expecting given its location in what looks like a sleepy village. At the bar there were 3 pumps offering Revisionist India Spiced Ale, Jennings Bitter, and White Gold by a local Dunham brewery. I went for the Revisionist India Spiced, 4.5% and set me back £3.30 which is very acceptable. A very pleasant pint in great condition. I took it outside to enjoy in the sun at one of the four small tables to the front of the pub, which of course only enhanced my enjoyment of the aforementioned pint.
