| This pub is at the centre of the small village of Ashprington, next to the war memorial, which serves as a roundabout. There is a nice bar area and a raised dining area. We sat in the bar area where the local shooters were due in. Noss Beer Works Church Ledge is the regular ale. There are 2 other handpulls. One had Otter Amber and the other had Friels Cider, which was very nice. | Under new ownership since 2013, fully refurbished bar, very pubby, awesome pints of Noss Beer Works 'church ledge', excellent Otter Amber & local cider. Great reasonably priced pub food. It calls itself 'a proper Devon pub' and i would agree wholeheartedly! swoolly - 11 Jun 2016 15:12 |
