| We were greeted by a noisy parrot before the landlord offered to let us drink in the pretty beer garden on Sunday afternoon even though I think he had actually closed for a few hours. He made sure to lock the door as we moved outside! Handpulls were Otter Ale and Doom Bar, ciders were Winkleigh's Sam's Medium Cider and Carlsberg's Somersby.
