| Recently under new management, who seem to be doing something right with a mixture of diners, and (on the evening I visited) people enjoying a DJ. Neither group disturbed the other, surprisingly. The beer, London Pride, arrived chilled - on a mild November evening. Despite that, the atmosphere was good and I would drink there again But not eat: The dining service was friendly, the main courses were tasty although the accompaniments were meagre. Puddings were poor however - the raw cake mixture that represented a chocolate brownie was truly awful, and the berries on a supermarket meringue shell were a shocking waste of money. racecoursealeman - 18 Nov 2011 22:00 |
