| This is more restaurant than pub but there are bar stools and there were customers just sitting at the bar enjoying a pint. There is no pressure to eat there either. This is the only place I know locally that sells Palmers ales and very nice they are too. There was a Best Bitter IPA at 4.2% and Copper Bitter at 3.7%, I tied the Copper Bitter which was a lovely copper colour as it's name suggests and had plenty of flavour. If you do decide to eat here you will find the prices a bit on the high side but I thought the food was excellent and well worth the extra cost. The staff were all friendly and helpful too. | Visited the Green Man for the second time in a matter of months, this time for a Gourmet Wine Evening. The food was sublime and went really well with the wines. Normally a big fan of Aussie Shiraz's but the Cabernet Merlot was better. Everone there seemed to have been to one of these evenings before nad really rated it.
