A big barn of a place, & having few customers around noon on a week day made it seem even bigger. John Smith's Smooth @ 2.50 was the best of what was on offer & as I sipped it I wondered why I move on from wondrous pubs to the less wonderful.

Had never been to this before until yesterday. You barely notice it if you walk by and if you do happen to notice it, you'd think it was quite small. However, this is a large and busy Liverpool pub. Meals seemed to be fairly popular. Only keg beers are available - Fosters, Theakston Smooth Dark, John Smiths Extra Smooth & Extra Cold, Guinness, Strongbow, Kronenbourg & Amstel. Better than I expected. But nothing special.

what has happened here?? this used to be very busy couldnt believe it when we went in on the friday, never seen it so empty, one of the bar staf said it was getting taken over so lets hope its as good as it used to be!

Bloody expensive.

Went in here after work the other day to watch the end of a World Cup match before catching my train home and they ripped me off 3 for a pint of Strongbow!

Was full of old people too staring into space. They must have been rich old people though to come to a place like this!

Reasonable city centre pub. Unsurprisingly, no bitter on pump or in bottle. Had a rather good Vindaloo for 4.95 and an averagely priced Guinness. Carpets were of extraordinarily vigorous colour, like something from the film 'Tron'.
