| Never visited under previous regime, but pub still features friendly welcoming staff in a proper unspoiled old fashioned pub. Probably full of locals, but lovely atmosphere greeted visitors. | Just popped here for two lunchtime pints of Masterbrew. A real find. Pub looks great on the inside and out. A traditional pub, perfectly proportioned, with good beer, newspapers and a dartboard. Friendly owners and no nonsense. A little gem. mbeswick - 17 Jun 2013 14:25 |
| During a pub crawl of Old Street/Hoxton we walked into this pub. Fantastic. A real contrast to the George & Vulture round the corner. A proper pub. Good atmosphere. Great SN beer and good service.
