| Well what a makeover that this pub has undergone. Out goes the dark, cold uninviting miserable pub to be replaced by a bright, airy, open plan pub and a warm welcome from the bar staff. They also have a new chef and a fantastic menu which I would recommend you try. It would also seem to be the pub to go to now in Ormskirk as it is constantly busy. As an additional "plus side" for the drinkers of Ormskirk, it means that the other local pubs will have to "up their game" if they want to compete with the new look Golden Lion.
