please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.

Stopped in for a quick pint while passing on Sunday afternoon and found the place very busy, mostly with diners. 4 or 5 brews on the go including DBC's Durdle Door which was well kept and served by helpful staff and attentive manager. Children well catered for and the is a huge conservatory area and gardens. Menu appears a bit Spoons-ish from what I saw. Will use again when in the area.

Had to wait for 50 minutes for fish & chaips, steak & chips and chicken wrapped in parma ham (the ham was totally burnt) and oily vegetables. That said the food was still good value for money just a shame about the service.

Went there recently again having said never again a couple of years ago. I should have stuck with it... What a total dump. Totally plastic. This time I mean it. Absolutely never again.

Alas this is a prime example of a beautiful old pub in Dorset that gets developement and effectively has its living soul ripped out of its bricks. I lived nearby and remember it being the center hub to the community - now that's all gone.
I have been there and the food and beer are fine but the interior feels like a departure lounge, souless.
