Due to Tescos to whom they supply a lot of bottles banning tours one has to be content with looking at the brewery through a window from the bar/reception area. We went on a group visit and the welcome was superb as was the food and jugs of beers.

Mock pub to the front which acts as the visitor centre of the attached Belvoir Brewery. Seven of us visited for the 14:00 brewery tour and sampling session on a Saturday afternoon, and I have nothing but praise... The brewery was formed by an ex Shipstones guy in 1995 and is celebrating it's 20th year. It is in a modern unit, but the pub makes up for this with some interesting artefacts. The tour is informative and you get to taste various barley's and hops. At the end you sample Whipling, Beaver and Old Dalby, which pretty much covers all tastes. Beer was excellent and we also got a cold platter on our £15 a head ticket. Food was great with beef, cheese and ham sandwiches, chicken drumsticks, quiche, scotch egg and of course Pork Pie! There is a £30 drink as much as you like option which we were going to do, but as we were going around Melton that night we thought it may get messy, so just bought a few pitchers of Old Dalby and Peacocks Glory. Recommended.

This is the visitor centre of the attached Belvoir Brewery in the small village of Old Dalby and is a great place to visit if you like genuinely good real ales and quality food. They do tours of their brewery including tastings, and have a brewery shop with their bottled ales and other bits and pieces. The Sunday lunch was excellent and well priced, and the Belvoir ales were all in first class condition as you would rightfully expect. An interesting and friendly place where you can get a real insight into the workings of a real brewery from expereienced brewers. Friendly, efficient staff and a very well organised, interesting place to spend a few hours. Located on the Crown Park, Station Road, Old Dalby.
