I only ever came here for breakfast but the food was great, it was clean and comfortable. Shame it has gone.

Not sure if it's still called "The Queensway". All I saw of it from the outside was "HARVESTER". Enough said.

Latest refurbshment, we now have leather armchairs and sofas, come on pub group this is a pub, not someones front room lounge. What client base are you trying to attract. If you want a real drink in a real pub go to The Shovels, it's only at the other end of Queensway.

Formerly a good pub, that has been spoilt by pointless alterations (brewery or pub group sponsored) over the years. The beer is not to brilliant being limited in choice (Boddingtons, Speckled Hen and usually one other handpumped bitter, no mild on handpump). The beer prices could do with a long look at, as they seem to be charging London prices in Lancashire! The food in the restaurant is excellent though, but I would prefer better seating arrangements.
