| Standard Wetherspoons pub right next to the Bus Station so that the usual smelly old men / unemployed / drunks can fall off the bus and get straight in for their pints at opening time (8am!). Usual Wetherspoons fayre, reasonably cooked and beer well kept. As always though there are many better pubs in the locality! manx_888 - 19 Jun 2015 16:18 |

| I had wondered what I would find here in view of previous negative reviews. Arrived around ten, ordered an OK pint of bitter and a breakfast which was substantial and well-cooked, cost �4.20 and arrived within a few minutes. Not gourmet fare, but this is a Wetherspoons pub. | There over the weekend found just two staff working downstairs, there were dirty cups plates etc. on tables seats window sills. If a place has gone down hill quicker I cant find it. rustheap - 5 Dec 2011 08:43 |
