please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.

too expensive! 4 for a pint of red stripe? come on! you can't even see the beach from here! "four in a bed" had the manager going on about his million quid debt so i guess that explains the prices :/ not our fault you're in debt :p otherwise, nice staff, interesting enough decor but how about covering the deck during rain and uncovering it during sun, not the other way around, lol...

Aspells cider kept well. Try the Ale next time...
Staff attentive and v.helpful.

Excellent bit of tea, the mushroom soup - more like mushroom puree, it was truly superb, great balanced blend of mushrooms, texture, and seasoning.

The John Dory fillet was totally out of this world, served on a bowl of local moules in a drop dead gorgeous sauce of shredded vegetables, herbs, saffron, cream, so many flavours going on - but all heading the right way. There was nothing missing.
Result - an outstanding dish - definitely go for it again...

Hard to get tired of the decor, too. See for yourself.!!

Trendy, modern boutique hotel with bar/restaurant open to the public, located between the high street and the sea front. Pretty pricey, but the quality of both the food and the drinks is spot on. Great vegetarian selections too. It's really pleasant to sit outside in the summer when it gets dark, they provide blankets in the wooden seating area to snuggle up in. A positive experience :)

Hip establishment for the trustafarian crowd. Quite food orientated, but there is a Purbeck beer pump shyly peeping out behind the bar, and some interesting bottled beers.

Has a guitar hanging on the wall, that;s a definite plus point
