Now closed down for good and will not be reopened as a bar or pub - is going to be a supermarket.

The previous review posted by 'Mr.Raffles' is right on the money. The crescent is one of the most poorly thought of bars I've ever visited. As I live nearby I thought I would check it out as I had frequently visited its predecessor - The Fox; It is awful. Stuck up, slightly intimidating, and ridiculously over-priced. Totally irrelevant to this area of London. All we (the locals) want is a plain, old pub, with pehaps a pool table and dartboard. Not a sleezy, champagne bar. Unless, you're blessed with very deep pockets I'd advise you to stear clear.

This place is not nice - not nice at all. After you have made your way past the pack of thick necked moron bouncers on the door (there were at least 10 of 'em - all with those ridiculous ear piece things in) we were met by the most expensive bar prices I have ever seen. This is West Kensington for Christ sake. You've got chav estates behind the pub and a row of run down shops opposite and to the left of it. Anyway, back to the pub. The atmosphere was thick with corporate underhand deals and other customers seemed to think they were running London. What a laugh. Running London. From Fulham!
To be honest, if this place was in Soho or similar, then it wouldn't be out of place, but in West Kensington - where the locals just want somewhere cheap and cheerfull to go for a drink - this place is an expensive, ridiculous and very unfunny joke. Go away!!

The Crescent is a high-end VIP club / champagne bar in W14. I had to check it out so I stopped by for a drink the other eve on my way home with some local chums. Impressive bar - a total transformation from it predecessor! Great selection of champers on offer and friendly bar staff. I would like to check it out at the weekend as I hear the main club upstairs is supposed to be pretty amazing with some top DJs playing. Check out chandelier made from champagne flutes in the bar!! They are showing the Wimbledon games in the bar during the day at the moment with some cool happy hour offers. Definitely worth checking out !
