| The New Inn is a smart looking Robinson's pub on Manchester Road, close tot he station. Although the interior of the pub is not quite as smart as the exterior, it is very comfortable. There were three real ale pubs when we visited, and the beer was excellent. We sampled the Cumbrian Way and the Dark Hatters.
