| The Ship is a gem. Excellent selection of local ales and real ciders together with superb, home cooked food. I work in the area but actually live in the North East and have found that the locals extend a warm welcome to everyone. Beers from the West Berkshire brewery are my particular favourite here but the selection is always varied and of good quality. If in doubt, the friendly staff will give you a taster !
