| After a heavy morning's walking, was looking forward to a pint in the village local, but, shock! horror! it was shut at lunchtime. The landlady, also village postmistress & shopkeeper, must have heard me rattle the doorlatch, and opened the door. She explained that they only open in the evening, but let me in.
