user reviews of the Crown, Cookham

please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.

Gastro pub restaurant with poor service levels and clueless staff.. Poor pint of pride.
I was wearing my work wear and got served, but apparently I am the type of clientele they want as my work wear is a suit and apparently from reading below that makes a difference.
Anyway shit service and shit beer means they didn't get my custom for long..
Not sure about the White Oak, but can recommend the Swan Uppers a bit further up the road. Now there's a proper pub

Too good for local people wearing polo shirts now apparently. I will probably avoid for as long as this policy remains.

I read this morning if you a working person and wear a Polo shirt
with a logo of a local working farm you will not be served in case
you scare away is local millionaire clientele

Suggest Maldenman stops his car next time he passes by. It's definitely a pub (although it serves food too). Very popular on Summer afternoons. A bit dead in the Winter.

I note this business is unrated here. It looks like it needs to remain so, its a restaurant not a pub.
