please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.

Dropped in here the other day, after a few years staying away because of a rather obnoxious landlady. The place hasn't changed alot but the management has (for the better). The beer was spot on. The only draw back was Ken Woodford was in there and being just as pretentious as ever. On well, can't have everything I guess. But the pub is now well worth a visit. 8/10

Ate here a few days ago. Welcoming, friendly with a good atmosphere. Disappointing to report, then, a very tough and tasteless sirloin steak and an overcooked piece of salmon. Wouldn't rush back.

Pleasant pub with good food, well worth a deviation from the A303.

Well-kept country village pub with good food and excellent beer. Warm reception from locals and pleasant bar-staff. Three ales on, all Wadworths. I had a first class pint of Horizon. Well worth deviating from the A303 to find, and I would happily spend a whole evening here.
