| Visited for a family celebration last night for the fist time in about 18 months. Two ales available from the Marstons stable, Hobgoblin was perfectly acceptable. Good food was sampled by our group. Ttable layout was a bit cramped and caused a few issues with people trying to get to the toilets. | This is my local eating and drinking pub. I have to say I am very fussy with where i go to eat and this is the only restaurant/pub that i feel comfortable with and have never had to make a complaint before. The staff work very hard and people have to understand that sometimes they will need to wait because of the volume of people that are being served. This pub is always busy if not fully booked. We have to book in weeks in advance due to popular demand. This pub received a 4* review in the Dining Out section of the Shropshire Star last month and is rated 5* by the environmental health Scores on the Doors scheme.
